Who we are
The organisers of the conference are:
Scott is an IT consultant with one of Ireland’s most successful indigenous technology companies and has worked in the tech industry since the early 1990s. He is a former director of the Pacific Center for the Book Arts and has been a director at the Glens Centre since 2011.
Susan is an award-winning writer, journalist and broadcaster in Ireland with extensive experience of politics, social issues and the arts, particularly in the context of Ireland, north and south. Her works include Sophia’s Story (1998), Northern Protestants (2000) and Bear in Mind These Dead (2008). Susan is the director of the Glens Centre, a theatre and performing arts development centre in County Leitrim, Ireland.
John is a creative professional, cultural producer and project manager, and an educator. He has managed multiple projects simultaneously across multiple territories, producing and touring shows throughout Ireland, to the UK, the US, Australia and elsewhere, working with international partners, and managing remote teams. John has carried out research into sustainability in the Creative and Cultural Industires, teasing out the value relationhships between innovation, technology, creativity, education and public policy.
