The Age of Enlightenment produced a body of work and philiosophical ideas from which the civil, political and and intellectual institutions of the past 200 years were devised. Digital Transformations believes a similar movement is required now, combining philosophy, science, sociology, economics, politics, law and religion into a body of work that addressess the digitised society’s range of ideas centered on the sovereignty of reason and the evidence of the senses as the primary sources of knowledge and advanced ideals such as liberty, progress, toleration, fraternity, constitutional government and separation of church and state.
